- Install lighting. Another problem with corner cabinets is how dark they can get, especially in the very back. A solution to this issue is to install lighting in this area to make it easier to see the items you store there—even one or two well-placed battery-powered lights can make a big difference in how you are able to use the space.
- Use 45-degree drawers. Many cabinet makers can now install special 45-degree drawers in corner cabinets. These drawers can look unusual if you are not used to them, but they allow you to make use of this space that might otherwise go to waste.
